To mark the 143^rd anniversary of the Civil War battle in Jonesborough, Georgia, we want to invite Civil War reenactors as well as spectators to join us on Saturday and Sunday, October 13 and 14, 2007. Battle reenactments will take place at 2 p.m. both days.

This year’s battle will be dedicated to our fallen comrade, Richard Peterson, who laid down his musket for the last time in March 2007. We want to honor Rick’s memory and remember his service.

Historical Jonesboro/Clayton County Inc. will be hosting this event, and we encourage all reenactors to get registered as soon as possible. We are planning several surprises for our reenactors and their families during the weekend. You won’t want to miss out.
